Key Highlights
The completion of the Mansion House Bridge in Jim Thorpe, PA closes one of the top ten trail gaps in Pennsylvania, and the largest gap on 165 mile multi-use Delaware and Lehigh Trail between Wilkes-Barre and Philadelphia. Using modern design and construction techniques, a new 250 ft bridge now spans the Lehigh River at this location for the first time in over 100 years while preserving the historic pathway that once carried coal and iron.
